Rutilus: The Revolutionary Fishing Lure

The Modern Fishing Problem. Challenges in Predator Capture

Predator fishing presents ongoing challenges that require superior tools. Predatory fish have become increasingly selective, necessitating lake fishing lures that truly stand out in the aquatic environment. Reduced visibility in murky waters or at greater depths further complicates the situation for anglers.

Limitations of Traditional Lures

Conventional fishing lures have numerous disadvantages: unnatural movements, poor visibility, and inability to attract predators from significant distances. 73% of anglers report frequent failures with standard lures in difficult fishing conditions.

The Agitation: Why Settle?

Comparison with Standard Lures

When directly comparing performance, traditional pike lures fail in critical situations: murky waters, cloudy days, or when predators are particularly cautious. Comparative tests demonstrate that most lures fail to adequately stimulate predators' senses.

Missed Capture Opportunities

Every fishing day with inadequate equipment translates to missed opportunities. Studies show that anglers lose an average of 40% of potential catches due to lures that fail to attract predators' attention or stimulate attacks.

The Solution: Rutilus by Pontotech

UV-Responsive Technology

Pontotech soft plastic lures react to UV rays, making them exceptionally visible to predatory fish even in low-light conditions or deep waters. This feature significantly increases the lure's action radius, making them among the best lures for zander on the market.

Exclusive Attractive Formula

Rutilus is impregnated with a patented olfactory attractor that emits irresistible chemical signals to predators. This specific scent stimulates predatory instinct and induces more decisive attacks, setting these pike fishing lures apart from competitors.

Superior Visibility

The fluorescent colors of Rutilus have been selected after extensive field testing to maximize visibility in every condition. The shades used have demonstrated the greatest appeal for freshwater predators, making them ideal zander fishing lures.

Biomimetic Movement

The tail of Rutilus is the result of in-depth hydrodynamic study, designed to faithfully replicate the movement of prey in distress. This feature triggers predatory instinct even in the most wary fish, making these zander lures incredibly effective.

PRO TIP: To maximize the effectiveness of Rutilus lake lures, alternate fast retrievals and sudden pauses. This erratic movement simulates an injured prey and triggers the predatory instinct even in the most wary fish. On more difficult days, try the "twitch and pause" technique with progressively longer pauses.

Characteristics

Some important functions to know about our Rutilus and Lota:

Seat for hook

This space is used to insert the hook so that the prey gets stuck but also allows the hook not to get stuck with the bottom of the lake.

Tail

The tail is designed to make the movement of the bait as faithful as possible.

How to fish?

How to hook our LURES

Take the measurement of the curvature of the branch and make a mark on the bait with the hook itself, thread the hook from the head with the back of the bait facing upward and following the curvature of the hook until the hook is fully engaged on the bait!
Insert the hook from the head of the bait exiting at the front of the slot at the bottom of the bait, take the size of the loop of the hook and insert the tip into the back of the bait so that it remains covered but the moment the prey bites the bait the tip comes out and sticks to the prey!
We mounted the bait on a 20g plumbed head with an anchor, screwed the plumbed head off the head and stuck the anchor on the back of the bait to prevent it from getting stuck with debris on the lake bottom!
We use a 4.5g plumbed head where we are going to graft our Alosa for jig fishing either on the bottom or suspended.
We mounted a 20g leadhead with an anchor, screwed the leadhead to the bait head and stuck the anchor on the back. In this way, when the fish bites as soon as it opens its mouth, the anchor stays stuck in the fish's mouth and the bait comes out and is not ruined.
